Armagnac and Cognac Talk

The reading made me open another bottle of Version Française - Bigor 1963.

The Magicos were great! Loved them, too! Bur for the ones displayed here, I am afraid, they do not look authentic, rather like some home made stuff, both the box and the cigars…

You cannot get better originals, as the Magicos on display were bought in Cuba, by myself, in THE factory.
Perhaps the ones you tried were not THE ones:wink:.
Cheers.

P.S. As you know, the left one is not Cuban, but Nicaraguan, my wife ’ s smoke :slightly_smiling_face:

This is an example, how things like original cigar boxes etc. in Cuba are still made-hand, unfortunately most of Cuba is still in late 60’…

Sorry, I didn‘t want to offend you, but I have been smoking Cubans for 15+ years, and never seen a Cohiba + box with such inferior quality. They never had a loose and unlevel ring…I have a couple of boxes, including Behike, which are all of extremely good quality, all with extremely crisp lettering… And all bought at LCDHs for good reasons…the ones here just don’t look right to me! But never mind and enjoy your smoke with a good dram!
