Leider war es mir partout nicht möglich, den noch verfügbaren Rhum in den Warenkorb zu legen, wenig später dann war er ausverkauft. Also muss ich weitersuchen …

Na klar! Nachdem ich der No. 1 regelrecht verfallen bin (was man auch an meiner Bewertung hier bei RumX sieht), sind die Folgenummern einfach ein MUSS.

I see that the St James Ephemeres is of interest to many people. Personally I found the n°1 very good indeed (so I will share the following ones when I get them), but not really better than their 2003 brut de fut…
And honestly I find it really below the last two HSE single casks: the 2006 easily found (for me: the best 
) and the 2003 for those who want a little more wood. I encourage those who don’t know to try them it if they liked the St James.
(of course, as usual in everything that is drunk and eaten, this is a totally, personal, subjective and … assumed opinion!

Nope, I mean this one. It resembles that of the brotherhood but less woody. The dried fruits take more place. But hey, there is still a lot of wood! At the same time it’s a bit of a classic marker for Bally/St James, the woodiness is very present. That is the case on the Ephemeres n°1 too.
