N: buttery, tropical fruits (pineapple, mango, unriped banana), floral on the background. Hints of minerals slowly coming through. I sense something citrusy (lemon peel, maybe?).
P: definitely citrusy and slightly mineral on the first sip. The ABV is significant, could be over 60%. The astringency is also relevant. The palate is creamy, buttery, yogurt, then again fruits (mango, pineapple). As time goes by, I sense more floral notes even on the palate.
F: lemony, roasted coffee beans, just a touch on the bitter end. Hints of wood and earthy.
Guess: for me, it’s clearly Jamaica. I’d go with a “traditional” Hampden, maybe HLCF or H mark. As per the age, 5y tropical? (The Habitation Velier??)
