Edit: sollten wir Spanien als Gegner bekommen wird der Anstoß wegen Unwetter Warnung und Verspätung der Deutschen Bahn auf 23 Uhr verschoben

It’s not a shame to lose against France with the slightest difference. But the way in which we lost is not okay: we could have beaten them.
We can’t be happy or even satisfied with the quality delivered throughout the tournament in general, from certain individual players as well as the coach.
Tedesco can go, the coach still lacks quality for this team. Way too late with tactical interventions. Starts with players that are clearly the lesser option on certain positions and does not use the full spectrum of the selection. He did not bestow the team with the confidence that they need to play their fast attacking style. Also a shame that he didn’t even bother to take along more defensive back-up given the dire needs in that compartiment.
The whole Courtois shit show is absolutely unforgivable. It’s the coach’s responsibility to apply the glue for the cracks in the vase and repaint them in gold. Make them strong and united in stead of losing yourself in a battle of ego.
I’m rooting for Germany from now on!
PS: I do feel proud of certain individual players, like KDB and Jan Vertongen for example. And also Koen Casteels. He played a very good tournament under the pressure of Courtois-gate.
