Unfortunately, this was far from my favorite Foursquare. Sipping neat, it had a note that didn’t fully work for me. Not sure if I can blame the sherry aging though, because I do like Sovereignty
On to the next one.

Have you tried Elysium as that has a sherry finish? I would be interested to know how they all compare. Elysium tastes good with cherry coke mixer

I liked Elysium, but my (sherried) Favourites so far have been Sovereignty and Magisterium. I think I like them even a bit better than Absolutio and Equidem.

No, I have not tried Elysium, none of the PCS releases for that matter. I also have a closed Magisterium waiting on the shelf, I’m curious how this will compare.

An absolute beauty! Fell in love with the Single Estate Reserve years ago in the beginning of my journey, and this is an upgraded version imo. Glad I bought it and definitely recommended to anyone who wants a (beginner) introduction to Jamaican rum. Beautiful stuff!
