Do you think this is better than 57 Herr for mixing?

No, it’s really not the same thing.
It’s perfect for a normal unaged traditionnal rum, but that’s all. The 57 HERR is wonderful as an estery profile!

I’ve never tried this Madeira in a Mai Tai but it seems a good idea. I’ll give it a try some day.

A late bottles kill. Die Oxidation hat ihm am Ende nicht ganz gut getan. Daher war es Zeit zu gehen.

No, not really, the US Coruba is made by J. Wray & Nephew. I believe the closest on the german market would be Myers by Style, although i fear not in quality.
