Got my final rum package from Peru . Might consider doing a bottle split if there is enough interest and I get off my lazy bum to do my first one
Part one and foremost, a big thank you to @zabo who organized me this release and to @Serge, who posted it….
second, a big big thank you to the Franconian Tasting Gang for this mind blowing and amazing set of samples. Opened the parcel today and was flashed. I owe you something whenever you come to the north
Hope you can enjoy it
I definitely will!
Always interesting to see where ones Samples end up
Two bottles ? What’s your trick ?
I could tell you but then I would have to kill you…
I’ll be happy with my one bottle
@Aussierumfan by the way, it’s a fellow from down under
Do you mean the snake?
of course
looks like a friendly beast!
5cl please
He’s beautiful
Is it a carpet python by the looks? Which means it isnt poisonous i guess. Unfortuantly where i live the only snakes you see in the wild are highly poisonous, can be pretty agressive and literally will kill you if you cant get to a hospital within 30 minutes! ie Brown Snakes, King Browns, Tigers and red belly blacks… therefore i tend to give them a wide berth when i come across them. We come across them pretty regualrly on our farm in the summer. They are only agressive when they feel threatened but on the farm walking through long grass can be very dangerous and there is a high chance you can stand on one without even seeing it, ive heard of peaple being bitten and hardly even realise it because the bite itself isnt overly painful. We loose the odd sheep through snake bite. If they feel you coming then they will generally get out of your way but not always, there is nothing more adrenaline pumping then coming across a fully agressive king brown, all coiled back, head arched back ready to spring out and strike i can promise they are super quick, they can be onto you in a flash, sorry off topic comment
This is where I draw the line and this is childhood trauma for me . Can’t get myself to buy anything with a snake photo on the label, no matter how delicious the liquid inside might be
