I might have the option to buy two bottles of this rum at a discount. But I am not familiar with the bottler, distiller or country. It also has 0 reviews. Do you expect it to be a good rum?

Difficult to say… on the other hand: the other Guatemala rums from this line mostly score between 7.0 and 7.5. I expect this one to be in that range. I would expect this rum to be okay but not great. Personally I would not need 2 bottles of it. But it depends on the price and what you intend to use it for.

Wouldn’t buy it. Maison du Rhum is not bad but rarely has had any great Bottlings. All more on the sweet and diluted side … Nothing that amazed me so far from this bottler

That was from September RA auction. Was surprised the bidding action was relatively low, so went for it with £160, I think ~€210 with fees. I used to look for it in shops, but I think there were mostly the lower voltage ones.
