to be precise, following your comment and link, I bought two different bottles of Rum et al and one mexican rum at Hi-Time wine cellars, Costa Mesa, this morning. They are now on the way to the plane.
An amazing shop with a mind blowing selection of spirits.
not to bad of a rum selection, but endless Tequila, Mescal, Scotch and Bourbon selection with very rare stuff. And wine, wine, wine. In Europe, we are not used to such superlatives.

Yeah they have a ton of great options in most categories. Plus a seemingly never ending list of private barrel picks too.
Curious to hear which other one you picked up. Would either be dunderclap or Baseline which is no slouch either but more straight forward for sure

Looks quite similar to the REWE Liquor store in Adenau (yeah, the Adenau at the famous Nürburgring ) where ive been couple times a year, and have to buy some stuff

Well done sir! On Dunderclap you picked up one of a total of 84 bottles made between the still strength (yours) and the standard 49%. Do let us know what you think when you try! For me it’s a medium funk but still fairly clean and sippable
