agree on the Upmann Magnums, they are more on the mild side. More recently, the Connoisseur A became my favourite.

I love the Connie A, it’s definitely up there with the top Upmann’s (Sir Winston, Mag 46 and 50). I purchased 2 cabs in Germany when they were released and still have a full one. I’m really curious how they will taste in 5 years or so as it’s still a relatively young cigar (the earliest box codes are 2013). The Magnum 48 is the strongest of the Magnum portfolio but age has tamed it down a little.
On the other hand there aren’t many strong Cuban cigars left. A lot of them were discontinued and they tamed the ones that are still left in the current portfolio down to medium strength. Some of old cigars really were extremely strong, the Punch Ninfas comes to mind for example. I have a few from 2002 left and they are probably the strongest cigars that I have.
Nowadays I find myself reaching for recent production if I want something strong since some are really full with nicotine.

just to name a few of my favorites, from Partagas the Maduros, the D#4, E#2, Bolivar the Belicosos Finos, Montecristo Double Edmundo, Nr 2, on Cohiba I really liked the Piramides Extra, all unfortunately really hard to get, or even the standartd ranges like the Cohiba Robustos now ridiculously expensive with about 70 EUR, some years back about 13 EUR…my limitadas, reservas typically only lasted until the next birthday or Christmas 
Some like the Montecristo Gran Rserva 2005, I keep for ‚really‘ special occasions

I know what you mean. Some limitadas and reservas are so expensive now that I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to smoke them. Cohiba and Trinidad prices are ridiculous now, a box of Piramides Extra is 950€ and a box of Trinidad Fundadores is 1500€ now. The Coloniales which was a one box per year cigar for me is now over €1100. The hobby has become too rich for me.

Yes, it’s a pretty good rum. It needs a little breathing time though.
I’m not the biggest fan of a lot of the Foursquare release in general.

At least V&M get the wax seal right. I hate it when it’s the hard and crumbly kind like on my bottle of Le Favourite

Mein Persönliches Rezept ist
2,75cl Frischer Limettensaft
1,75cl Dry Curacao (Ferrand )
2cl Orgeat (dadurch KEIN Zuckersirup)
6cl Rum (für mich NUR Jamaica)
Mit Crushed Eis in den Shaker und hart Shaken …
Wichtig ist (für mich) Frische Minze zum Garnieren Optik und Geruch beim Trinken.

Does anyone know how to find out if a specific Rom de Luxe product is available in any store?
I found this Romkaffe which is something I wanted to try for some time now, but I don’t want to pay more for the postage than the product.
I‘ll spend new years in Denmark near Rinkøbing, are there any stores on the route from the german border that might have that coffee in stock?
Or has anyone seen a similar product available in germany?
