We did all the sightseeing the last time we visited. Lovely city with a lot of history. This time we are visiting a friend and we want to sit back and relax so it will be mainly food and drinks :yum:

I’m reading Matt’s book.
TIL: The French Charentais Pot Stills used by LVMH for their 10 Cane Rum are now operated by the San Juan Artisan Distillery in Puerto Rico. They plan to sell Rum blended with Cane Juice similar to the original 10 Cane product.

War es auch. Der schmeckt wie der Tiki Prototyp. Schon sehr lecker, aber auch eine süffige Gewürzbombe.

Hier nochmal einen, um dem Don Q etwas mehr Raum zu geben. Aber gegen Falernum und Orange Curacao hat er es auch schon recht schwer.

Einen hab ich noch. @TheDunderHut empfahl den Don Q im Mojito. Here we go:

Das sieht nicht nur gut aus, das schmeckt tatsächlich auch verdammt lecker. Tatsächlich kann der Don Q hier sein Profil voll ausspielen. Das könnte sich zu einem echten Favoriten entwickeln.

seven weeks without alcohol ended yesterday with this amazing La Mauny.
Quite interesting that I again need to get used to the ABV level. The first sip was harsh.
The enmore is a bottle I emptied long ago but it still has an impressive nose. Despite the low rating at RumX I remember it as a heavy, wood and tannin soaked excellent rum.
