I am a whisky collector since 2005 and a rum collector since 2015.
Since 2015 I tasted more than 560 different rums.
My favorite country for rum is La Réunion, followed by Guadeloupe, Jamaica and Trinidad …. and in terms of distilleries Savanna followed by Bellevue, Hampden and Caroni. I love high Ester rums.
I own a bottle of almost every bottling from the Savanna distillery but significantly reduced my purchases since bottles are sold out quickly and prices raised to astronomic values.
