In 2019 I decided to do something with my passion for cocktails and mixology. I quickly learnt I had a strong inclination toward tiki culture and subsequently became enthralled with its primary base spirit: rum. Now, these two hobbies co-exist in equal parts.

On the one hand, I’m constantly experimenting with tropical drinks, and their accompanying tinctures and syrups. I can be spotted whipping up the freshest of beverages at events every now and then.

On the other hand, I’m continuously looking for new profiles to try, investing in samples and bottles to ensure I get a chance to try as many different rarities as possible before they disappear, writing about my experience with them. Currently I’m most captivated by oily, resinous and herbal aromas, but am still always excited to have the next thing in my glass.
