Originally from Dominican Republic but living in Texas for over 15 years. I obviously started drinking rum in DR, but it was not my favorite drink for a while, I usually like Scotch. Then after moving to USA, I started to discover rums from other locations like Barbados, Jamaica, and Guyana and after drinking some of these blends my rum senses awake and needed to start looking for different flavor profiles. I still drink whisky from time to time but now my passion lies with rum.
