Can I use my RumX credentials in the forum?

No, you need your own user account for the forum. Use the same email address as in your RumX account to link the two accounts automatically.

Why is there now a forum in addition to the app?

With the forum, we are creating a discussion platform where you can exchange ideas with the entire RumX community. In addition to exciting discussions about new releases or current trends, you can also use the forum to organize bottle splits. New bottle splits are automatically posted in the app’s community feed.

Please treat this discussion forum with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

Are there any rules of play and conduct?

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

The topics discussed here matter to us, and we want you to act as if they matter to you, too. Be respectful of the topics and the people discussing them, even if you disagree with some of what is being said.

I added a new rum, but don’t see it in the feed. How can this be?

Thank you for helping to make the database a little bit better. If you add a missing rum to the database, you can use it directly in your collection or taste it. Each new rum will be checked for correctness and redundancy by our team. After the approval, the rum will appear in the upcoming app update for all users in the database and in the community feed.
