Ich mach mal den Anfang. In der Nase typisch Low-Ester Jamaika, mit ordentlich Wumms. Geschmack bestätigt dies, signifikanter aber nicht dominanter Holzeinfluss, mit hoher Intensität.
Ohne die je probiert zu haben, könnte ich mir einen alten Long Pond aus den 70ern vorstellen, Alkoholgehalt deutlich über 60%, 20 Jahre oder mehr gelagert, teilweise tropisch. In Frage kämen die 1974er CRVs z.B., habe aber zu wenige Vergleiche, um das sicher sagen zu können. In jedem Fall sehr lecker.
Heute ist Faminienabend - keine Zeit für Rum. Eventuell morgen wieder.

I could be on board with the possibility of this being Jamaican and low ester. But I lack the knowhow for being very exact.
That minty note is indeed present on the back of the tongue. Licorice in the finish for me. Now time to let it breathe and enjoy a bit of ice cream.

Looking at my cold and assuming that it is rather something better than “der gute pott” today, i’ll give this blind tasting a pass. I really hope to join tomorrow. Enjoy your rum guys and merry christmas

So, endlich ist der Besuch weg 
Holla die Waldfee… was für eine Nase! Pinien-Harz, Wick-Vaporup, etwas kühlend mentholiges… geilomat!
Am Gaumen geht es genau so weiter… Harz, Menthol… dazu etwas Rauch. Der Alkohol ist verdammt gut eingebunden.
Einzig der Abgang wirkt im Vergleich etwas Schwach. Lang ist er, die Aromen bleiben da, könnten aber etwas intensiver sein. Langer, aber dünner Abgang, falls das Sinn macht.
Hammer! Für mich klar unter den Top 3 vom Kalender
