Hi All,

I have heard excellent things about Rum House in Prag.
Hey Gabor,
for Prague i can highly recommend the Bar “Rum House”. The owner is a crazy maniac like most of the member here, who also visits many fairs regularly with his Bar/Shop. The selection of open bottles is very good for eastern europe.
As a classic shop i can also recommend Warehouse #1. Again great selection and fair prices. You can taste a lot of open bottles and they bring out their own Warehouse #1 Brand of rum, which has very interesting young jamaican Rums. They also havev many co-bottlings with known brands such as S.B.S or Chairmans.
Both are quite central so you can easily do those 2 locations while doing regular touristy stuff, which is also great in Prague.
I wasnt in Brno so far, as its quite far east for me, but i have a friend there leading a Bar/Cafe with a decent Rum selection: Air Cafe Again, quite central so you can do the other touristy stuff there aswell. They have a deccent selection and a very nice owner. Albert Kronek. Send him greetings from me as we exchanged many high-class Rums during Corona-lockdowns and other boring times.
Brno:
Not Rum But very good Absinthe. Its a good friend of me.
Hi guys,
For a rum enthusiast, the Air Cafe is a bit lacking. They have a decent line of sweetened rums, but when I was there last year, I ended up with Hampden 8YO and unaged agricoles. I asked the staff for something more interesting, but no luck, they said it’s hard for them to pour a more expensive bottle in a reasonable amount of time. But cocktails were very good.
