If you had to choose one distillery and stick with its rums for the rest of your life. Which one would you choose?
Remember, all other distillery’s would be taboo.

And I would pick Savanna, because of very high quality and an incredibly diverse range of products

I’d go with DDL because they are the most versatile.
I don’t need the high-ester rums anymore; they can produce even that. DDL might not be Demerara at its peak, but they can create great rum.
If you like to have smooth rather Spanish-style column still rum, you’ll find them at DDL
If you like to have heavy, herbal pot-still rums, you’ll find them at DDL

Ok. Interesting question. So may be right now i say bielle. You have can make a ti Punch how often you like with great white Rum. Or Just let rhum in the cask for aging to excellent aged Rhum. Life can be nice and easy

For me right now it will be Hampden. But i am Just at the beginning of my Rum Journey around the world.

I guess for me it would also be DDL – but only if i can choose what they’re bottling. As the Rare Collection is not really being continued this is a important point in this theoretical game.
Otherwise i’d pick St. Lucia or one of the Jamaicans (probably LP or NY)

Unfortunately I cannot comment on this. The question is impossible to answer because there are simply too many good distilleries.
I think this is a paradox for me. When it comes to country, I would rather Jamaica if that were possible.

O.k. darüber könnte ich mal nachdenken. War schon fast geneigt New Yarmouth zu sagen, aber da die 94er Fässer langsam rar werden, weiß ich nicht ob das bis ans Lebensende ausreicht. Wobei die 2005er und 2009er Abfüllungen auch nicht zu verachten sind.
Die 94er REVs begeistern mich zur Zeit auch wieder. Können wir uns vielleicht auf die Top 10 Distilleries einigen 
Und auch da wird es vermutlich harte Entscheidungen geben.

Travelers, Belize. Because most of the aged expressions (casks - ex-bourbon, brandy, whisky) I’ve tried from there across multiple independent bottlers boils down to 2 words (my personal opinion) - silly delicious!

Falls es nur um Rum gehen sollte, wäre es aufgrund der möglichen Vielfalt an Stilen DDL.
Falls die Frage Brennereien im Allgemeinen umfasst, wäre es ganz klar Balcones, da sie jeglichen Whiskystil (Malt, Rye, Bourbon, Corn) großartig hinbekommen und zudem auch noch guten Rum produzieren.

I’m also clearly with Hampden because they can do pretty much everything for me: Fresh, smooth, rough, high ester, low ester, fruit in all degrees of ripeness, beginner and professional rums, easy sipper, excellent material for mixing, funk… I don’t think I would ever get bored with Hampden.
