I thought creating this post would help forum users starting out when cocktail making in terms of the different brands of liqueurs available and the different price points. Please add to this so we can make enclyopedic on the forum!
The vedrenne is £10.99 (thought I would try it as it’s usually £16.99). The giffard banana du bresil is £18.75. I tried both in a beach bum rum runner (flash blended) and the giffards blended better within the cocktail and you could taste it unlike the vedrenne. I know some of you have done something similar for orgeat in Mai Tai’s but I’ve think it would be good to have all of this knowledge in one post. ..
