E-mail with "dash" not accepted

I recently installed the RumX app on android and when I entered my email adress it said “invalid address” or similar.

Turned out the dash was the problem. When I removed it, the email got accepted even though that account actually doesn’t exist (unlikely at least).

Is that a known bug? The forum did accept the email address just fine.

Additionally, now I’m stuck with the wrong email address in the app. How can I change my address in the app? It’s shown but I can’t find a way to edit it.

I use an Email with dash too. It works. At least with IOS.

Either it’s an Android issue, or it was something other than the dash or I made a mistake. I can’t test it anymore though, as I’m already registered now.

An error has crept into the validation of email addresses in an update from last week. However, I have already fixed this bug in the current version. Please check whether you have installed the latest version from the play store. :smiling_face::tumbler_glass:

The email address cannot currently be changed directly in the app. But you can send me a PM here in the forum and I’ll take care of it.
