I recently installed the RumX app on android and when I entered my email adress it said “invalid address” or similar.
Turned out the dash was the problem. When I removed it, the email got accepted even though that account actually doesn’t exist (unlikely at least).
Is that a known bug? The forum did accept the email address just fine.
Additionally, now I’m stuck with the wrong email address in the app. How can I change my address in the app? It’s shown but I can’t find a way to edit it.
I use an Email with dash too. It works. At least with IOS.
Either it’s an Android issue, or it was something other than the dash or I made a mistake. I can’t test it anymore though, as I’m already registered now.
An error has crept into the validation of email addresses in an update from last week. However, I have already fixed this bug in the current version. Please check whether you have installed the latest version from the play store.

The email address cannot currently be changed directly in the app. But you can send me a PM here in the forum and I’ll take care of it.
