One of the things we value most at RumX is the collective expertise of this community. Many of you have a âlocal gemâ or a specialized online shop that youâve trusted for yearsâshops that often fly under the radar but deserve more recognition.
We frequently hear, âYou really should have Shop X on RumX!â and we agree. However, we believe the best way to grow our marketplace isnât through cold sales emails, but through genuine, personal recommendations from real customers.
Why your voice matters
A shop owner is much more likely to value an invitation when it comes from a loyal customer rather than a platform representative. To help bridge this gap, weâve introduced a new way for you to introduce your favorite shops to the RumX ecosystem.
Our goal isnât to flood shops with messages, but to start meaningful conversations based on the trust you already have with these retailers.
How to participate (App Version 23.9.0)
Weâve added a feature to the app to make this outreach as seamless as possible:
Select a Shop: Choose a shop you genuinely love and trust.
A Personal Touch: Use our AI-assisted draft as a starting point. We encourage you to edit itâa quick personal note about why you enjoy shopping there makes a world of difference.
Direct Contact: The email is sent directly from your own mail app, ensuring full transparency and a personal connection.

Geile Idee die Community zu nutzen - ist ja quasi ne Win-Win-Situation.
Ich hoffe nur, dass sich die angeschrieben Shops nicht am Ende bei euch beschweren, wenn sie zugebombt werden (insbesondere nicht-deutschsprachige Shops mit deutschen E-Mails).
Den Mails einen persönlichen Touch zu geben und sie auf teilweise auf Englisch zu schreiben hat ganz schön gedauert; ich hoffe es war die MĂŒhe wert

Genau diesen persönlichen Touch finden wir super wichtig. Wir achten darauf, dass Shops nicht gespammt werden (z. B. keine doppelten Empfehlungen in kurzer Zeit), und unser Feature passt Sprache und Ton bewusst neutral/freundlich an mit unterschiedlichen USPs. Am Ende bleibt es aber eine echte Empfehlung von echten Kund:innen â das macht den Unterschied.

Die Preise sind dort bekanntermaĂen echt krass wie einige hier zu bezeugen wissen. Gerne krĂ€ftig anschreiben, bisher kam hier leider nie ne RĂŒckmeldung auch wenn der Shop sonst sehr zuverlĂ€ssig ist!
@Oliver Wann wird denn die Anzahl Lose angezeigt. Geht das quasi live oder machst du da einmal am Tag ein update? Hatte jetzt einen Shop angefragt, aber kein Los erhalten.
Wenn der Counter sich nach 6 Stunden nicht aktualisiert, liegt es an abweichenden Email-Adressen. In dem Fall bitte eine kurze PM an mich, mit der benutzten Email-Adresse und Deinem RumX Benutzerkonto-Namen - dann verknĂŒpfe ich die manuell fĂŒr die Punkteermittlung.
