Next to managing your personal collection of rums, taking tasting notes is one of the main reasons to use the RumX app. I think it could be an awesome win-win feature if vendors could offer a simple XML, CSV file or whatever that could be imported through an API, so community members taking part in a tasting can just “subscribe” to the list and immediately get all the samples added to their database so they are quicker when taking notes (no need to search the rums).
Mandatory fields to import could just be the RumX ID and size.
Maybe optional would be date and price of the sample and of course the vendor or comment field holding the name of the tasting.
