At least I’m an open bar for the tiny mosquitos
Is Jef there for work or pleasure (or both)?
Both but mostly pleasure
Robert told me he had never seen someone before who had a personal shopper in any giftshop
New Yarmouth: we only stopped for a quick visit at the outside. The smell…
The size of the column still is very impressive, it’s huge! (That’s what she said)
The best
Clarendon Distillers. Met the team and CEO, very lovely people. They found it interesting the hear my stance on things as well as I’m not a rum industry person, but just someone who likes drinking it and is very passionate about Jamaican rums.
Very cool to get some insights, seeing the column and pot stills. The wooden vatts were very impressive but they kindly asked not take pictures from them.
I could move here and find a job in the rum business
After Clarendon we drove back to Kingston. A visit to the Bob Marley museum and a nice dinner at the restaurant of the Terra Nova hotel, where this madness started. So the beginning, middle and end of the trip is for the Hussey family. We’ve come full circle.
After dinner I was exhausted, it has been quite the busy trip it’s about 3h30 now, so I guess I’m back to European time. I think I’ll stay awake and hopefully I’ll be able sleep on the plane next night…
You could say that I had a very epic bachelor’s party
Thank you so much Tom. Every Line was worth Reading, every Foto worth watching. It felt a bit like taking part in your outstanding Journey through the Jamaican world of Rum.
I’ve had worse Mondays….
