Hi Banana Joe,
We’ve just arrived back from Jamaica yesterday and need to debrief (read: put all my new bottles away and wash clothes). I’ll get back to you ASAP with more info but count on Mid-to-late February of next year as travel dates. We’ll start will reserving properties as early as April (they go fast). Speak to you soon! Take care,
Robert

Guys, I have put together the provisional itinerary for Jamrock 2026 for 11/2/26 to 24/2/26. It’s 2 days longer than this year’s trip: 2 nights in Kingston, 1 night on the beach in Ocho Rios, 4 nights in Trelawny on the beach, 1 night on the beach in Montego Bay, 4 nights in Black River on the beach, and the last night back in Kingston. 3 of 5 distilleries have already confirmed, the NRJ properties will confirm soon. 14 days/13 nights, 12 excursions, 5 distilleries, a huge undertaking and a lifetime of experiences to remember.

Hey Robert @JamRock, this looks awesome. I hope I’ll be able to join at some point in the future (with young kids right now, it’s a bit complicated…).

Can you tell us about TECB? Weren’t you going to bottle some? Or is it a secret?

Cheers,

Q.

TECB has been in the pipeline for a couple of years. Long Pond has had some significant production setbacks since reopening. They’re doing the best they can. Soon come…

Therefore I had to order someTING!:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Any idea if the taste is very similar to the one on the island?

Did you bring some Ting to compare? Would be interested in this as well. I think have read somewhere that it’s different (sugar content etc.).

I had no more space in my suitcases. Not even for a small bottle :see_no_evil::sweat_smile:

Ting on the island has much more juice content than the export version.

Good morning all,

I’d like to return to the itinerary for Jamrock 2026: there is the one I posted above and this one, which is very close to what we had this year: 3 nights in Kingston, 4 nights on the north shore close to Long Pond and Hampden, 3 nights in Black River, and 1 last night in Kingston. The ideal group size is 8, the maximum is 12. Accommodation is based on double occupancy in Kingston (single rooms can be arranged for a supplement), and private rooms elsewhere. The dates for the trip are 13/2 - 24/2 12 days/11 nights.

For this 2nd variation and based on 8 people, I am estimating 3650 Euro per person (this year’s rate adjusted for inflation plus the extra night). This includes all transportation. accommodation, distillery trips, excursions, plus breakfast and dinners (7/7) outside of Kingston. Amazingly tasty, genuine Jamaican food like Jerked Chicken & Pork, Ackee & Saltfish, Curried Goat, Shrimp, Lobster, Snapper, Bammy, Plantains, Rice & Peas, etc cooked by two of my favorite ladies. 3 dinners in Kingston and lunches are paid for individually. This price does not include tips. Tips and individual meals should total around 600 Euro. Airfare is not included in this price.

The excursions include the Bob Marley Museum (his home and recording studio on Hope Road), the Creighton Coffee Estate (Blue Mountains), Downtown Kingston Water Lane Art District, Trench Town Government Yard (where Bob Marley lived), Hellshire Beach, a Rastafarian farm, Vale Royal Great House ruins, Dunns River Falls, YS Falls, Black River boat tour and Floyd’s Pelican Bar.

Worthy Park, Hampden Estate and Appleton Estate have already confirmed next year’s tours, Long Pond and Clarendon will confirm soon.

Candidly, pricing the first option puts it over 4000 Euro per person before individual costs and airfare which may be too rich for some people’s budgets. And, as you can see from the above, the 2nd option is still a very full trip.
There are only a couple of days where we unplug, half the days we’re up and out the door by 0730, but there is time to relax and chill. It’s a very Jamaican experience.

My access to the distilleries and their people, knowledge of Jamaica and contacts around the island make this a very reasonable offer. I’ve been doing this since 2017, plus traveling to Jamaica since the 1980, I have a very good working knowledge of the island.

I hope this gives you a good idea of what the trip includes…

There is no cure, only treatment… Once you’ve had a trip to Jamrock you’ll return every time you sip a fine Jamaica Rum.

If I remember you weren’t being dragged kicking and screaming. More like we had to leash and muzzle you from running off into the cane fields never to be seen again.

Plus you can always come back with us again…
