Just realized that the RumX forum is a european/german website :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank goodness we have english speakers on here because i cant speak/read german :germany: .

I’m actually of german heritage , the quad-cities on the iowa side espicially had a large german immigrant population .

Davenport , Iowa :germany: Was called the “ ellis island of the midwest “ Because it was a major entry point For german immigrants back in the day .

german immigrants Made up a significant Portion of davenport’s population …. Thus leading the city sitting on the mississippi river ( it cuts between downtown rock island , illinois & downtown davenport , iowa ) to be called The “ most german city “ In the midwest By the early 1900s

Welcome Bob :hugs: Nice to see that the RX community has growing awareness overseas. I believe, the translation button works fairly well for those not being able to read / write German language.
