Looking for my next Navy now.
Corman batch 1 can hardly be found now, Tiger shark price has raised lastly, Royal Navy is too expensive.
What should I choose according to you ?

Rumclub Navy Blend (RX14138) is very good but only available on secondary market as far as I know.

I missed that one too. I hestated too long. Was available for quite some time. Absolut great bottle. But even more expensive than the Velier Very Old Navy.

I would go for the Velier Navy Rum RX26, the blend of Jamaica, Demerara and Caroni is really interesting.
Most of the other ones we didn’t mention are generally crap.

Black Tot 50th anniversary RX4513 is a great navy blend if you can get your hands on it.

Also true, but only the 50th Anniversary. The others are below. It’s a kind of an easy sipper.
Which is not really the case for the Velier, specially just after opening. It becomes smoother after a few months of opening.
You can really feel the influence of the three countries, on the nose in an order and then in the mouth in a different order. Fascinating, and then everything evolves also with oxydation.

I prefer the Very Old Navy over the Tiger Shark, but the Tiger Shark is still available at around 150 EUR (e.g. at Spirit Academy). One I have been enhjoying more recently, is the Pusser‘s Deptford Dockyard Reserve (RX12944). It offers great value for the money (though not fully up to the Pusser‘s 50, but this, like the Black Tot 50, is not around any longer, or only at considerable mark-up)
