Do you mean Navarre Lot 93?
I haven’t tried it yet, but as always with Navarre quality should be there. Is it a great deal - probably not, because it’s expensive for its age.

The Lot 93 was a special Single Cask release for Authentic Spirits. The “best deal” is typically the Vielle Reserve, currently available at armagnac.de for 125€

Ahh dann hab ich den verwechselt. Wird wohl aber auch seine Qualität haben.
Bis ich die erste Flasche Cognac kaufe, wirds aber noch was dauern, glaube ich.

If you want a bottle of good congnac at a reasonable price, then:
- Navarre VR or SI
- JLP Claude 84 for ~112 EUR (I’d recommend to grab it before it’s sold out - all new OB Pasquets are more expensive)
Le Cognac de Claude - Pasquet "Le Trésor de Famille" I La Cognatheque - any Laurichesse, especially if discounted (again - soon there won’t be such gems, 40+ yo Grande Champagne cognacs below 200 EUR)
Search - discounted Fanny Fougerat Sir Type 72 (it’s discounted from time to time to as low as 160 EUR - bear in mind it’s 50 yo single cask)
SIR Type 72- Collection Hors Série- Cognac Fanny Fougerat I La Cognathèque - usually Through the Grapevine keeps very good quality, but retail prices are steep → wait for discounts at LMDW (e.g Arbellot de Vacqueur Lot 67 Bons Bois discounted from 215 to 150 EUR… WF 91)
This is my shortlist of no brainers, but of course there is much more great yaks available.
Whatever you will choose from the list above you won’t be disappointed.

Wobei ich diesen Cognac nicht als so ausdrucksstark empfunden habe. Die Pasquet finde ich intensiver.

Stimme ich absolut zu! Der Navarre ist da eher frisch, easy drinking, helles Steinobst. Für den Preis trotzdem ein super Cognac!
Würde aber auch jederzeit den oben empfohlenen Claude L84 vorziehen!

Mein erster Cognac…sehr lecker.

Den Colombard habe ich bereits probiert. Für mich definitiv ein kantiger Vertreter…nicht wirklich rund im positiven sinne…also ein wenig wilder….aber die Tendenz geht mehr in Richtung Frucht. Aber auch irgendwie bittere Süße dabei. An irgendwas erinnert mich Geschmack, hab das Gefühl mal so etwas in Rum Richtung auch gehabt zu haben…hatte noch danach den 76 de la poste…der wirkt trotz des alters sehr rund und geschmeidig insbesonder im vergleich zum colombard…alg. Preis leistung wie noch üblich bei armagnac ist natürlich top
