Does anybody of you have a good idea for a parcel service shipping from France to Germany with insurance (500 euro) and track and trace,
I want to check if there a alternative to DHL

Mondial Relay is 12,9€ +6,5€ insurances for 500€.
Takes quite a while at the moment. Arrives with Hermes in DE

Mondial will not refund broken bottles unless you package them as they instruct on their website. There has been a lot of drama in certain groups here in France because they did not issue refunds. They also issue refunds into the shippers Mondial account which means that the refund can only be used for future Mondial shipping fees. I wouldn’t use Mondial to ship an expensive bottle.

I always used mondial relay for shipping, but I also pack all bottles very very carefully.
I just checked : it’s clearly not written that it is paid on a customer account. So maybe they try with someone and he let them do that, but I just think that’s not the normal process. (or as a normal process, they always try to do this unless the customer refuse it)
I never had any problems with them in more than 2 years, but I always put an insurance to avoid “accidental” loss more than breakage. I pack all bottles/samples very carefully. Unless the carrier jumps on the package, this should not be broken!

You might be right about the refund. I had a problem with a seller once and he was moaning that they only agreed to refund his MR account.
Isn’t the official seller not always responsible to refund?
I would say that it depends on the seller and on the agreement that was made before shipping. Unless the seller is a store or a website.

Parcel was sent with mondial relay and everything was fine.
Sender followed the instructions and did the packaging very well (the better the packaging the less problems).
