At some point, the way of indicating that the rum occurred on one of your lists changed.
It seems that the heart symbol is now also used to indicate this ?!
This cleary removes the distinction between the rums that I love/are on my wishlist and those that, for whatever reason, appear on one of my other lists (maybe even a ‘to avoid’ list )
I really preferred the ‘list icon’ layover on the picture instead of the ‘re-use’ of the heart symbol.
You can you please reinstate (or give us the option to choose which way we prefer) ?
As soon as a rum was on the wish list, the heart icon was displayed - regardless of whether the rum was also on its own list. In the new update I have adjusted the “prioritization” and I think the behavior is now clearer (from v20.0.10):
If the rum is on at least one list of its own, the “list icon” is displayed. If the rum is not on any list, but on the wish list, then the heart icon is displayed.
Overlaying the two icons would make the UI look too cluttered. I think the new solution is a good compromise.
Hi @Oliver
thx for the explanation, but I guess a bug is at play then… have a look
Btw, it’s not in my wishlist… I’m using the latest version of the app.
The unfilled heart is a button to quickly add a rum to your wish list. I agree that it attracts some attention, but the quick add to wish list was requested by many users as a feature.
I had removed the larger heart icon on the rum detail page as the wish list button is already present in the top right of the app bar. However, I understand if the button at the top right is a little too inconspicuous and have added the overlay button above the Rum preview image again in the next update. This will make it clear at a glance whether the rum is on its own list.
