I just booked 8 days in Rome for us and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction regarding some good rum stores. I checked google but only found one that has a bottle that interests me. Any help would be appreciated.
Maybe @Stylo could help
Here I am! In which part of the city you’ll be staying?
Monti, but I’m able to move around. We’re staying at a friends home to relax and I’ll have a bit of free time.
I’ll suggest to try the following:
-
Enoteca Altobelli Otello
06 780 3591

Enoteca Costantini
-
Enoteca Del Frate
These are some of the biggest/most interesting…
I’ll give you other suggestion tomorrow
Many thanks for your help. I really appreciate this!
Currently visiting Rome from the US and I was just able to stop by Enoteca del Frate and Enoteca Costantini. Great selections so thank you for the recommendations @Stylo!
I’ll be in Rome for a few days in October, staying in the city center.
@Stylo (and the others ), what are the places to visit their to have a good sip or drink good cocktails?
I won’t be able to brink bottles back. What’s the best way to send a package to France ?
For cocktails I loved
- Jerry Thomas Project
- Freni e frizoni
- Drink Kong
Heard good things about Slap Roma.
No clue about rum bars or shops though. If you find something good, please share!
So we’re back from a few days in the beautiful city of Rome where i eventually gave up trying to find some cool rum bottles after only finding standard ones in several enotecas.
I’ve been to a few bars where I tried some cocktails:
- Nai’s : from far the best one I’ve been to. Cool place and really good cocktails
- Pan Bernardo: classic but well made cocktails and rather cool place
- Apotheke : long list and mostly decent cocktails.
I also tried Kon’Form but they didn’t bother to serve us. They were more interested by their friends outside so we didn’t taste anything and went out.
