Well, considering it’s a very high level tasting there were no horrendous rums, there were more disappointments I would say, and in that case I would say Caroni 1988 (definitely the black sheep of the series) and Damoiseau 1989 was not up to my expectations. The Nine Leaves was also quite disturbing.
For my favorites, the choice is a big dilemma, because the rhum hoe loves all the rums, but here are a few that really stood out for me :

Enmore REV 1994 Wild Parrot
Clarendon 1984 Extreme Plantation (the OG, RIP)
Caroni 1982
Caroni Fire, maybe my GOAT honestly
Also special mention to the Hampden 1997 from The Whisky Jury, one of the fruitiest rums I have ever tasted

I will post my tasting notes in the coming weeks, I have accumulated a lot of delay as I still have a few other tastings to post before and a busy schedule, but stay tuned

Und gefällt? Eindrücke? :slightly_smiling_face::tumbler_glass:

Wertung 8.8

Bin gespannt was es tatsächlich ist.

Viele der Eindrücke passen :+1:t2: ABER…

Cognac.

Mal sehen, was der FRC macht. Gestern kam er mir etwas leichter vor

Just treating myself to one of Australia’s finest :smile:
This is probably how most bundy is consumed, in premix Cola Bottles/cans.
