Just came back from Munich.
Curtain Call was a great recommendation. Good classic cocktails and friendly staff. Tried about 10 drinks, and most of them were delicious. They gave us a lot of great tips to visit in the city.
Trader Vic was a rollercoaster. The food was good, comparable to any Asian/Asian-Fusion restaurant, but unfortunately insanely overpriced. The cocktails were a huge disappointment and some of the worst I’ve had in a long time.
Ironically the best tiki drinks were served at a bar called “the jaded monkey”, seemingly a defunct stripclub turned tiki bar ran by a retired Kung Fu instructor (or atleast that’s what it looks like on the inside), about which every other barkeep told us to stay away because the owner is overly arrogant.
