Hi from Dominican Republic :slightly_smiling_face:.

Hi from the Netherlands. I’ve started my rum journey about 5 months ago with tiki cocktails and now slowly transitioning into sipping rum neat.

I put in an order for some bottles today, time to clear out the old ones

Excuse the beerglass, new glassware is coming soon

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I already know I like Jamaican rum, curious to see other brands and expressions. Im eyeing some Worthy Park bottles, as it is within budget.

You can always invest in some samples if you want to try different things. I highly recommend it. There are shops that sell individual samples or sample boxes. You can also take part in bottle splits here on the forum as well.
But as a “beginner” it’s wise to taste some stuff in the broad variety of the rum spectrum

Very much agreed. I also have bottles from Panama, Barbados, and Guyana on my shelf. I’ve yet to try cane juice rum, which is probably the next ‘adventure’ for me.

Samples are a good suggestion! On my next haul, i’ll find some samples to order as well.

Or just ask the trusted members of the forum. I am sorting out open bottles at the moment and can basically offer you a wide selection across the board, just ask @Tom

“A wide selection” is an understatement :joy:

Thank you for the offer! Seeing as I ordered 3 bottles online today, I’m going to taste and enjoy those before getting anything new. When i’m in the market for new rum I’ll definitly ask around here.
(This may or may not be next week…)
