Saving tasting notes as draft before submission

Hi @Oliver ,

I don‘t know whether you have already thought about it, but I would genuinely love to have an option to temporarily save tasting notes as draft before submission to the xchange thread. I often experience cases where I want to look up previous tasting notes for comparison while being in the middle of writing down a tasting note. Currently there is no other way than discarding the tasting note and to start from scratch again…

best regards

Michael

At the very bottom of the tasting screen you have the possibility to decide if it shall stay private or be published. I use this function for my drafts.

I guess, this is a reasonable workaround but the save draft option would still be my preferred choice as it would be easier to handle, also when you want to jump between different parallel tastings or when you want to publish in ‚bulk‘.

This is correct, in the old version there was a function to publish all private tastings as bulk, but I cannot find it anymore in the current app.

As Jarek described, there is already a workaround. However, I also like a native implementation of it and will get to work on it soon.

The way I like to think of it:

  • New use case during tasting: “Save as draft”.
  • In Xperience there is a note: “3 open drafts”.
  • A list representation of the open drafts - which is also at the same time an ideal overview for cross-tastings
  • Possibility to publish single drafts or all drafts

this would indeed be a geat improvement :star_struck: I also believe that 3 drafts would be sufficient for most users.
