TDL years of production and multi batches per year

Hello everyone,

Bit of a long post coming about the rum production at the TDL distillery. I really like that distillery and I would like to gather more info to improve my knowledge on it and entertain the conversation regarding the production of that distillery.

We know there are rums that have been produced and bottled from the year 1991 but after that it seems there is a stop in the release till 1999 with rums from FHP mark distilled at TDL. Between those years I don’t find any other rum released, was all the production used in Angostura product?

I thought it might be linked to some kind of instability in trinidad or in the rum world but Caroni was producing rums during those years so it doesn’t seem likely

Same question also applies to TDL 2004, we have the very known TDL 2003 and some TDL 2005 but no 2004, any idea why?

Lastly, there are different batches for each year (typically 2003 were there is one in February and some release from later that year
Would those batch will have a different profile?

Adding a bit more info after some research
It seems that plantation bottle some 1993 and 1997 TDL (RX7684 RX21421 and RX2477) but not much more than that
I also found on a retailer another that is not in the app Plantation Trinidad Old Réserve 1999 0,7L 42% – Rumzentrum.at

And yes. The 02/2003 & 04/2003 Batches are very different.
