Dear RumX Community,
We’re thrilled to announce that the new RumX Advent Calendar 2024 is ready to roll out – created by the community, for the community! Like last year, this special project is organized by the RumX forum admins at self-cost price, making it a unique non-profit experience for everyone.
This year’s cost price is €190 plus shipping, and we are happy to ship from Germany to all EU countries. The calendar will feature 25 rums of 2 cl each – one for every day of Advent and a bonus rum for Christmas Day! 
For this edition, we’ve put extra effort into finding diverse rums with few ratings in the RumX app, so you can expect some exciting surprises and top-class picks!
How to Get One of the 29 Limited Calendars: Due to high demand in past years, we are introducing a new distribution system this year. Instead of “first come, first served,” we’ll be raffling off the calendars. To enter, simply go to the RumX app, click on your “RumX Loyalty Card,” and register. 
You’ll receive one raffle ticket for every RX point you’ve earned. This gives our active members a higher chance of winning one of the coveted calendars.
You can register until Sunday, 27.10.2024 at 23:59 CET, and in the meantime, you can boost your chances by adding detailed tasting notes, organizing bottle splits, and making purchases in the RumX Marketplace.
We will notify the lucky winners via email on Monday, and payments must be completed by 23:59 on 31.10.2024. Any unpaid slots will be allocated to members from the reserve draw list. This way, we can ensure all calendars arrive on time for the start of December!
New Blind Tasting Feature: This year, there’s a cool new feature: Each sample bottle will have a QR code for the new blind tasting feature in the app! You can record your tasting impressions as usual, and once the blind tasting is revealed at 9 p.m. each day, your notes will automatically link to the correct rum. It’s a feature many of you requested last year! 
We’d like to give a massive thanks to our co-organizers @mto75, @Chris, @Adrian, and @Jakob, as well as all the bottle donors who made this possible by providing high-end rums at cost price. Thanks to this non-profit approach, the RumX Advent Calendar is, once again, an unbeatable price-performance rocket this year.
