Bei inn-out werden zwei neue Rum Artesanal gespoilert:
- RA Jamaica 31y Hampden 1990 0,5l 57.8%
- RA Guyana 1985 VSG 0,5l 54,3%

Genau die beiden wurden auch schon von Zucker und Zeste in deren Blog kurz nach dem GRF erwähnt. Über den dritten scheint aber noch nichts bekannt oder es kommen nur zwei.

Es kommt noch ein 2000er Barbados WIRD 47,1% .

The 1990 Hampden from The Rum Cask cost 250€ last year (if I remember correctly). At Inn-Out, the new RA is now listed at 370€. and the Guyana Rum with nearly 600€ - Caroni Prices are now applied to any older release?! Find it’s a pity that RA is almost only on Ulta Premium Rums and the high quality from the middle range almost completely disappeared.
RA & TRC used to be similarly priced. Now, RA’s prices are aligned with those of expensive international bottlers from Denmark, Italy or France. My focus moved to other bottlers (although I’ve bought the 1995 Clarendon and the 2002 TDL)

Aua … da kann ich mit meinem Budget langsam nicht mehr mithalten. Die Preise schießen gerade durch die Decke. Wenn der 1990 HD ein HLCF ist, ist der Preis noch im Rahmen dessen was wir dieses Jahr gesehen haben (wenn man mal 50 cl vs. 70 cl ausklammert), aber 600 € für den VSG … ich will nicht wissen für was die Einzelflasche im nächsten Employees Release erscheint.

I actually bought my first Foursquare Exceptional Cask (2009) this year. And now I am looking forward to them every year 
Just because inn-out lists them at these prices, it does not mean that it’s the SRP. They tend to list stuff way above retail and then put a “special offer price” (which in 90% of the cases is still above retail). Sadly, it’s working (the Hampden seems to be sold out). In that way they’re following the sad trend that can also be seen in whisky, where hype bottles are sold by shops at a premium from the very beginning. I guess their argument is “why leave the margin to the flippers?!” which is kind of understandable, but very hostile towards “normal” customers in my view. By the way @Innoutshop also has a profile here since Sep 15th with 0 posts and 0 topics. Maybe they can reveal the true SRP for the coming RAs?

Sure, but it won’t be near 250 for the Hampden or significantly less than 500 for the Guyana and well, with this prices I’m as far out as it can get.
Releases I loved last year were those JNY 2009 - amazing rums for round about 50€.

Edit: @lukasdrinkinghabits ich bin da voll bei dir, die Preise werden langsam abartig. Der JNY ist PLV-mäßig eine absolute Granate. Allerdings vermute ich, dass die Fässer auch nicht günstiger werden. Die in Amsterdam sind ja auch nicht blöd und merken wie sehr die Nachfrage steigt. Um so schöner, wenn es noch Abfüller gibt, denen es nicht (primär) ums Geld geht. Mal sehen wie lange noch.

Bin ich froh 3 Flaschen vom The Younger gekauft zu haben 
Ein völlig unterschätztes Fläschchen und immer noch zu haben. Exzellent in einem milden Mai Tai und noch besser in Cuba Libra wenn’s einfach mal nur ein simpler Rumdrink zu Pizza und Kinoabend zu Hause sein soll.

The vulcan still is said to be the still which produced the famous rockley style. So it is coming back and maybe with a release in the next few years, which is great news. There might be some tasting shows before that.

That’s good news, if they manage to recreate the style. Same gamble as with the resurrection of Brora and Port Ellen.
Did anything stand out from the tasting? Were there special samples or just the 2021 SC range?
The SC2021 only.
The rums were mostly as expected. The Multi Island was a bit better than expected with a bit funky but balanced nose, but heavily dosed (20g). The two Panamas and the guatemala did not catch my attention.
The Trinidad was much more boring than I hoped for. The jamaican is nice, diluted to much and very smooth. A Clarendon without any edges -maybe a good choiche for an introduction into the jamaican style.
The best one was the Barbados. The wine finished gave it a interesting balance between very ripe continental fruits (Zwetschgenmus mit Zimt, Apfelkuchen) with a bit of spice. It was although the one with the highest ABV still it was rather thin. But really a nice variation of the classical bajan profile. I’d rate it near the One Time Limited Barbados.
