does anyone know something about this rum?
I found nothing about it but it seems pretty fascinating to me. Is it worth trying to buy it?

Tough one… it seem like “Rum Moretto” is often mentioned together with “rum fantasia” — at least on labels not as old as this one. Three of these have been reviewed here with background info on “fantasy rums”.
Google the distillery and other non-rum spirit products come up.
Not sure Italy has/had legit rum distilleries…
My take: a Stroh-Rum like product from the first half of the previous century. Maybe fun to try, but not for more than 70€-80€. Add a few bucks if you’re into the vintage look of the bottle.

Was mir bei der Flasche auffällt: Ich glaube der Schraubverschluss sollte komplett mit dem Papierchen bedeckt sein, ist aber freigelegt. Füllstand ist auch nicht mehr ganz voll… ob da schon einer probiert hat bevor das Ding in die Auktion ging?!
Bin mir aber nicht 100% sicher, ist schwer da Referezen zu finden.

Stimmt nicht. Hab mir noch mal die Fotos auf RT angesehen, das ist keine Kapsel sondern eine Baderole um den Hals, auf der RĂĽckseite sieht man es deutlich:

Ja ist wahrscheinlich einfach ein Glücksspiel bei so alten Rums. Wäre aber frech wenn der schon offen ist, gehe davon aus sowas überprüft RumTrades eigentlich. Mal sehen ob da noch was passiert.

I have some notes on this bottle from a 1992 tasting 
Nice colour and wonderful nose with a light fruitful palate. The price to quality is very good.
