Cool, vielen Dank.
There, there… the trickery of the RumX team has begun I love these rums that put me on the wrong path. I did see the situation coming, just not yet with this rum.
Here’s to many more misjudgements from my side, cheers!
Me too. I managed to recognise Guadalupe as the origin, but being a Bellevue fan, this is a bit less intense than the ones I am used to drink!
Not surprised by Guadeloupe, totally underestimated the age. Very enjoyable one, thanks!
Smooth and very delicately fruity agricole at first smell.
Strawberry bubble gum… Then some wood.
A strange sensation of knowing it. Bally perhaps.
First taste : Bally ? Not 2004. Smoother. Perhaps the 2007 I haven’t tasted yet. Very sweet and fruity at first then wood and leather. Could finally be the 2004. Wood is really present and points towards a rather old agricole.
Really really good !
I’m slowly getting into calendar pace, as I had other obligations. I didn’t think of Guadeloupe when guessing, for me it’s a little too peppery for that. I rank RA SFGB a bit higher in my chart, but on the other hand it’s my first Duncan Taylor.
It was a lovely surprise having the opportunity to taste this. The universe apparently has an interesting way of surprising me still, as about two years ago I found this bottle in a shop and subsequently had been eyeing it for about… another year… before it got bought by someone else.
Did they not see I had emotionally and spiritually claimed it?!
