#24DaysOfRum Prelude

Hello all, and may you all have a wonderful advent (rum) experience, even though this coronavirus is still endangering our families and holidays :frowning:
However, even if I’ve seen the “spoilerl on first post (couldn’t make it yesterday), here’s my impressions:

  • color: faint gold, very smooth and clear…might give away its young age
  • nose: very interesting…nothing familiar to me…which led me to think that it comes from a distillery/country I’ve never experienced. I get a very fruity nose…it really reminds me of a fruity wine…grapefruit, cedar, mixed with sweeter notes of candied dried fruits. On the background, I sense a vegetal, almost lightly grassy note, along with a plastic sensation…weird, but in a good way!
At this point, if I have to guess, I would say it is a Clairin
Mouth: slightly acid and salty…are you sure this is not a wine? I still get fruity notes, more on the pineapple side, mixed with spicy and vegetal note. After a while, I get also very dark, bitter chocolate. The finish is medium, on the spicier, dried side
Definitely not a clairin. There is some “Jamaican” vibe to it, but not enough for my “experience”.
All in all, really interesting start!
    Cheers
    Luca

hier geht‘s weiter

Guyana?

Mein Tipps:

  • Black Tot Rum 50th ,54,5%
  • Velier Tiger Shark 57,18%
  • Berry Bros Guyana Rum 13y 62%

Die ersten beiden nicht.
Erinnert mich etwas an meinen Eldorado.

Aber auch der letzte nicht, schmeckt nach weniger %

Scheißschnupfen…

Hier geht’s zu Tag 1:)
