They say, âafter the Tasting Lottery is before the Tasting Lottery!â With this spirit in mind, weâre thrilled to announce our July edition of this much-loved format. This month, we have teamed up with our shop partner Perola, showcasing their own brand of rum, Bellamyâs.

Und sollte ich wieder ein GlĂŒcklicher Gewinner sein, wĂŒrde ich die Samples wieder in FĂŒrth abholen. BeschrĂ€nke mich aber dieses Monat hauptsĂ€chlich mit Sample- und Bottlekills um Platz zu schaffen fĂŒr Neues. Daher eher unwahrscheinlich.
Ich will wirklich kein Spielverderber sein:
Aber Ich sehe diese Ranglisten in Form, wer am meisten Verkostungen pro Monat gemacht hat, extrem kritisch. Es handelt sich hier immernoch um ein Nervengift und viele der Sorten haben extrem hohe %.
Einen Wettbewerb daraus zu machen, wer Monat fĂŒr Monat am meisten verschieden Sorten trinken kann und das dann durch erhöhte Siegchancen zu belohnen halte Ich fĂŒr das falsche Signal. MĂ€nner (die ĂŒberwĂ€ltigende Mehrheit hier) springen auf solche Vergleiche/Wettbewerbe ja immer extrem an.
Möglich wÀre zB das ab 10 Tastings jeder ein Los erhÀlt, egal ob 11 Verkostungen oder 150 im dem Monat.
Ihr seid alle alt genug und könnt fĂŒr euch selbst entscheiden wieviel Alkohol ihr zu euch nehmen wollt, aber bei dieser Dauer-Challenge musste Ich das irgendwann mal loswerden.
Bei mir kommt es immer drauf an wieviel samples ich habe. Meist probiere ich eh nur 1cl und irgendwann den Rest. Hau mir ja nicht jeden Abend 5cl von jedem rein. Meist lasse ich dann 2-3 gegeneinander antreten, das sind wenn es hoch kommt am abend 2 normale SchnĂ€pse mehr nicht und das ĂŒber den Abend verteilt.
Finde ich trotzdem GesĂŒnder als wenn ich anfange mir morgens um 10 das erste bier rein zuknallen und abends nach dem 10ten um 23uhr ins bett zu fallen.
Sehe jetzt da kein Problem drin.
Und wenn wir ehrlich sind, wer knallt sich absichtlich 100samples mit Druck rein um dann ein paar Bellamys sample zu bekommen. Da kosten vermutlich die ganzen Samples zum probieren mehr als wenn ich mir von Perola die hÀlfte der Flaschen kaufe.
Und wie letzter Monat gezeigt hat, kann man auch mit nur 7 Verkostungen was abbekommen vom Kuchen, hast du ja selbst gesehen.
AuĂer du tauchst nachmittags bei mir im Garten auf oder bring dir deine Samples vorbei, dann kann es schon etwas mehr sein.

Dann wĂŒrde ich mir wegen den Verkostungen sorgen machen, aber so alles im grĂŒnen Bereich.

thanks for your concern about our Tasting Lottery procedure. We completely agree that promoting responsible alcohol consumption is vital. Itâs never our intention to encourage excessive drinking.
We are already considering adjustments to the system. For example, weâre planning to reward activities like sharing bottles, rather than solely focusing on the number of tastings.
I would also like that, just for my own interest. but with divisions there is a lot of work behind it. just like e.g. saw the Raconteur, people didnât care if they kept it themselves, although only everyone got one, it was shared three times here.
Seriously, I think that sharing or, above all, travel reports (like Jarekâs) deserve a reward.
also a good indication of rarities or bargains.

just to be funny again, are there any rewards for bottlekills? or maybe for funny photos of the Bottlekills?
Iâve been thinking about that, too. Jarekâs report would also have been worth a contribution to a reward to me. I have looked at the pictures and reports several times in between to get inspired.
You could put an âawardâ button under the posts, similar to the like button. This way the community could vote who should be rewarded for a âspecial workâ. This would encourage motivation to create testimonials or other highly informative posts.
If such a reward system is introduced at some point, I already vote to award @Jarek retroactively! Again, great job, and not just because Iâm into Agricoles.
