Let’s see your rum collections

Hi all, I’m Bryan. In case you didn’t know, over a year ago I left my cushy tech job to focus on rum evangelism and education and I couldn’t be happier.

I’ve recently moved and reorganized my collection.

This is only part of the collection and is a side effect of my ADHD hyper fixation.

I’d love to see your rum collections so please share!

TO THE RUM!

Hey,

what do you think about the Rums from Alambique Serrano? Unfortunately not available in Europe yet, spoke to them and they found a retailer and start selling in Europe next year.

Nice collection, lot of opened bottles!
You’ll need several lifes to drink all that :joy:

Really curious about Kohana Agricole hawaian rum!

Looks great! Given how many bottles are open (as it should be!) I would call that a selection rather than a collection. :tumbler_glass:

Amazing! That will last you the rest of your life. I can take out my bottles for a picture this weekend as i only have 21 bottles. Gotta start somewhere…

I’m at 695. A lot of the collection is in closets and cupboards!

Of course! I am constantly teasing friends who collect bottles and never open them. I want to enjoy what I have!

Unfortunately, Ed’s a single barrel Quality has really taken a nose dive. He seems much more focused on promoting his cocktail, mixing rums. For the price and the quality they are hard to beat.

Outside of that, he doesn’t seem focused or interested in more single barrel options from what I can tell

I really like Alambique Serrano. They’re experimenting with everything and they’re high proof, unadulterated bold rums that are worth exploring!

Kō Hana is fantastic. They almost exclusively single cane varietals. The Kea line is unaged cane juice, Koho is aged, and KILA are cask strength single barrel options.

95% of bottles are open! The only ones I have yet to open are the bottles that brand have sent me that I need to review. The collection is meant to be enjoyed!

I don’t recommend going deep down the rabbit hole ending up with as many bottles as I have lol

Don’t worry, my credit and debit cards will max out long before I reach triple digits.

:rofl::rofl: it is a slippery slope that is for sure!

we made a little survey earlier this year in which it turned out that 1/4 of members have 200+ bottles in their collection. So, ultimately, I am not sure how sustainable your current credit card limit will be :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’m on 21 bottles 0 samples within 1 month on this forum/app. Linear extrapolation tells me that in 10 months I’ll be part of that club
