I hope I can see a different rum and coke review every week from now on
When went backpacking, we brought a bottle of Plantation OD. We then bought coke and limes when we were near a store. Phenomenal Cuba Libres! Enjoy.
Almost forgot about you all!
Mai Tai with my new Worthy Park 109 + El Dorado 8. Also made a fresh batch of Orgeat. Very tasty!
Overall i would say that the Original Dark works best, because it has good caramel notes and it adds some nice flavors to the Rum & Coke. No Alcohol perceptible. The Appleton was much more spicy with a good nose. Had some Alcohol in the Coke Mix. But it was ok, because it had Oldscool vibes. The Overproof was to artificially and killed the Coke for me. I still think the RX8512 works perfect in Coke or as Cuba Libre, when you can find it for a good price.
Where is this bar located ?
I like that Hoolie! How is the Sugar House?
Black Parrot (Bride Court London). Highly recommended for rum minded folks
It is delicious @rumma, I did wish the proof was higher. I had a line up for 4 British rums (ranking them in the order of my favorite daqs):
- Merchant Parrot (By Ninefold)
- Hoolie (By Outlier distilling)
- Funk Drop (By Dropworks)
- Sugar House
The old fashioned at the end was lovely, but needless to say I was fairly plastered by then
Deja vu…
Wobei dein LP noch mal ne Nummer krasser ist
