@SaibotZtar für mich macht er im Mai Tai eine sehr gute Figur. Auch hier viel weniger extrem, als ich mit einem DOK assoziieren würde. Dafür bringt er ausreichend Holz/Reife mit, sodass der Drink Tiefe bekommt. Werde den CoR definitiv nochmal als Teil eines Blends versuchen.

Today I made the Illegal for me and my girlfriend. Great cocktail, nice complexity and smokiness. One to drink more often! Definitely is more than the sum of its parts.
Illegal
• 30ml mezcal (i used Del Maguey Tobaziche)
• 15ml unaged overproof jamaican rum
• 15ml falernum
• 5ml maraschino liquor
• 22,5ml lime juice
• 15ml simple syrup 2:1
• 5ml eggwhite (optional)
Shake with crushed ice and a few larger ice cubes. Double strain into coupe.
Jasper’s Jamaican Rum Punch. With a bit of prep work this drink is made by mixing two ingredients. 45ml Jaspers Mix with 45ml unaged overproof rum.
At a Thai restaurant, a cocktail made with white Diplomatico, yuzu and litchi flavors. I was curious, not expecting too much and was thinking that the litchi would be too overpowering to be honest. It’s actually very well made with a nice balance between sweet, sour and a bit of bitterness.
