Did anyone try this yet?
I read it but would like to get a little more information. Olives, not really my thing but I’m very curious to try this one.
I would not bother too much. Serge usually finds olives in every Jamaican rum
I’ll find out for myself soon, just placed an order for a couple of bottles.
Nice. How much is the bottle?
I paid 264€ for two bottles shipped from Italy after applying a 5% discount coupon.
I would be interested in a sample, if you plan an opening them.
Or are you still busy in finishing samples?
I’m always busy finishing samples but I’ll never succeed to empty them all as there’s new stuff arriving every week.
I could try and run a split if there’s enough interest and if someone in Germany is willing to play hub.
I d definitely take 5 cl as well But not a must of course!
I only do it the French way: 3cl samples. But you can have one or two of course.
But if someone is willing to play hub I can offer 17 3cl samples on here as I’d like to keep a few cl for something here in France.
2x3cl bitte
Would also be keen on a sample, happy to volunteer as a German hub this time
I’m interested too and can do the forwarding business.
Hm, that review by Serge is intriguing, although it feels like he has a Hampden- (and Worthy Park-) bias. 2012 should be OWH, no?! Those notes don’t really sound like low(est) ester count – but not super high either. I guess only trying it will solve the riddle… 3cl please
The mark wasn’t disclosed by the producer and the bottler implied they don’t even know themselves. Most likely it’s either OWH or LFCH.
There is that Samaroli Hampden 2012 release, which got 91 from Serge as well iirc. It is supposed to be a HLCF. So this one might be too.
“supposed” in all caps here… Samarolis authority on marques is questionable, to say the least. Anyhow, we’ll be wiser after tasting.
@MikeH I thought Roots is a Belgian bottler?! Curious why you ordered in IT, was it cheaper?
“The Roots” bottlings are only distributed by a handful of sellers. Most -if not all- of the Belgian shops have been sold out for a while now.
Yeah that last question was garbage, didn’t properly read the thread, he posted the price
Guess that’s around RRP with the usual expensive shipping from Italy.
So it was for availability reasons, understood. Still weird that Italy ends up having these, not the most obvious choice for Belgian chocolate
