Can someone tell me something about the SMWS bottling 1990 Providence / Trinidad? I have a bottle of it in my cellar. However, I have no more detailed information on this bottling.

TheLoneCaner wrote an article about the early SMWS Rum bottlings (The Scotch Malt Whisky Society – The Lone Caner). However, the Providence is not mentioned. Seems to be a pretty rare piece of rum, congratulation.

The atypical label indicates it’s a shareholders’ exclusive, which would also explain why there’s so little to be found about it. Maybe shoot SMWS an e-mail?
