Thanks! From my experience I really doubt Tamosi will offer bad bottlings and I really love a good 2001-2003 T.D.L bottling, but at that price point (which is really on the border of what I am willing to pay for a bottle of booze) I’m a bit sceptical (especially with the CDI 2003 bottling for Premium Spirits still being on my wishlist) so please excuse my curiosity.

The swell 2003 for Salon de Rhum was 139€ for 0,5l at the Festival so no real difference with 0,7l here in that direction.
Still Not cheap i know. But thats the result when many cry yeah to a new TDL Release especially from 2001-2003

Yeah, I agree, the prices are similar nowadays for T.D.L bottlings of these vintages, but that’s still a lot of money for a bottle of booze, so no reason not to compare.

Btw, the 1978 whisky in the back is a real beast as well, recommend to try if you like whisky!

For what it’s worth I heard at the UK RumFest from one of the guys on the Foursquare stand that the yearly vintage ECS will be stopped. Apparently Richard wants to use the rum for other things.

Interesting, coming from people at the stand it’s an informed rumor I guess.
For what? Watering his plants? Filling the local community pool? Wasn’t under the impression that they are short on output

Gerade tauchte der hier bei LMDW auf, verschwand aber kurz darauf wieder mit 404. Ein SFTB mit 6 Jahren… quasi ein XO Full Proof. Preis war 239€.

Die damaligen “Standard XO” waren allerdings Blends aus ca. 9,11 & 12 Jahre alten Fässern & damit doch ein wenig älter…
Da die XO High Proof damals bei ca. 180 Euro lagen ist in Anbetracht der Preisentwicklung im Rumbereich 240 Euro für einen High Proof Neisson grundsätzlich noch relativ unauffällig…
Ich persönlich find’s jedoch meilenweit überteuert - mich hat zudem leider auch noch kein Single Barrel wirklich überzeugt…
Zudem: lagen die vorherigen Single Barrels nicht eher so im Bereich 140-160 Euro???
