If you like Armagnac and Rum, maybe the following will be of interest.
We (Spirit Gallery) are launching an “anti-inflation” pack for this summer. Three bottles, great spirit to share! And one of them is an Armagnac, selected for rum lovers. Kinda the same idea we did for the Cognac Pasquet 73 Grande Champagne, made in collab with our friend Spiritori.
So back to this Armagnac ! Distilled in 2001, made from 100% Folle Blanche at Domaine d’Espérance, located in the heart of Armagnac’s “golden triangle.”
This single cask spent 24 years aging in the barrel #1, and was of course bottled at cask strength. Expect a spirit that’s both delicate and rich, with a refined, complex nose and a palate full of fig, prunes and chocolate — definitely a treat for those who appreciate a gourmand/rich, layered molasses rum.
